I am so disappointed....



Well... I am a bit disappointed by Iplehouse way to do business.... I totally understand the great work that is behind a doll as the Akando Pierrot... a wonderful doll indeed that need a lot of work for every detail... but... this is not really a matter of time but of seriousness.
I have ordered and paid my Akando the very second day it was released (beginning of september) and I paid full (what an error!) and not with layaway... Iplehouse wrote on the public board that they was going to ship Akando on 27 october and everyone said "oh wow! They are so fast!!!".... yes really..... On october they wrote on board that Akando needs so much time to be done and than the shipping was postponed... ok this is quite ok, I was really surprised about the first date they said...
At the beginning of november I asked them to combine another order I done for some clothes and they said to me, very politely, that it was better if I place my order near the middle of november cause that was the shipping date scheduled for my Akando. And so I have done.
Until now I am still waiting.
Yesterday I wrote them asking about the shipping and I received an incredible answer: "Your order sequence is not in front, so maybe, we can ship to you in the beginning of Dec".
EH??? And what the hell this means???
I am wondering why my order is, in a mysterious way, fell behind every other order... I find this so rude that I wrote it to them and I am very interested in their reply... I am willing to wait 3-4 months for a doll (I have waited 4 months for my Sards and I never complained about it with Soom cause they told me the truth about the waiting time) but I am not really willing to be teased in this way.
I am so sad about it, they will ruin my wait for Akando and as I know myself I am not so sure he will stay for long just cause it... I really hope I will change my mind looking at him in person...

I am so disappointed :(

I totally understand what you feel.
I am waiting for my first doll, Kalix, and when I asked DoD abut when will they ship him to me, they said: "we need a couple of weeks to finish your Kalix"
I am sad and dissapointed. Because of this I can't go to the convention that I wanted, he'll defintly be stuck in the post office for the christmas mess and if things go the worst way.... He'll come to my country after the customs will be tighter.
So I know wery vell what does it mean when you face situations like this.
(sorry for my crappy story, but I need a schoulder to cry on T.T)

i hear you.
i ordered gabriel from latidoll the first day that they started reselling the blue dolls, at the end of september. i asked them a couple of weeks ago for an estimated shipping date (because his processing time had come up). if they had told me another month, i would have have understood and been ready to wait that month. instead, they tell me that they will ship him monday of the next week. that monday, my status hasn't changed so the next day i write them and they tell me that they will send him the NEXT monday. finally, last friday i emailed them and they tell me that they are sold out of one of the things i ordered almost three months ago - which wasn't sold out then - so pick something else.
apparently they are shipping him tomorrow.
with my replacement item.
not happy.
so i completely feel your pain.

He has a great sculpt, nice body (with a little bit too big neck XD) and he's just great. :3

I wanted to make sure. Some owners of Kalix at DoA said that he have a wierd triangle-thing on his hand. Is it true? Does you Kalix have something like this?

Hmm... That's good, I think. XD I was a bit worried, because (if I remember correctly) at least two owners of Kalix said that he really have something like this. And one of them was a gray skin and the second one was normal skin. So this worried me even more. xD"
